The Light
I’m wandering, it’s black as night
There’s not another soul in sight
Reaching out there’s no one there
The isolation too much to bear
In the distance a light suddenly shines
With that warm glow I’m no longer blind
A spark of hope grows inside
I know I can no longer hide
The sickness that lives inside me
The torment that does not let me be
Again I reach out my hand
Hoping to be free of this dark land
With help & a will to fight
Slowly I make my way into the light
There’s not another soul in sight
Reaching out there’s no one there
The isolation too much to bear
In the distance a light suddenly shines
With that warm glow I’m no longer blind
A spark of hope grows inside
I know I can no longer hide
The sickness that lives inside me
The torment that does not let me be
Again I reach out my hand
Hoping to be free of this dark land
With help & a will to fight
Slowly I make my way into the light
