Just past the bend in the road
where secrets are stolen and sold
notorious new stories are told
sought out and bought out
with glorious victorious truth
spoken from the uncouth crying youth
and inspired by the retired undying old
brought on by the benign and malignant bold
Lost gold tossed and thrown from the mother lode
cost cast in another load into the unknown cold
at their newly acquired abode
at the dead end post past the bend in the road
An ode to the host hoping, tight walking the rope code
