Isolation, pain, douleur.
Themes which may also be
Current, indeed are quite
current in the midst
Of this pandemic.
Easier perhaps on those
Lonely souls...who are used to this
Isolation...often by choice
But soooo difficult on people
who are generally more social
But then discover a dakness
Of this world.
Their soul may grieve as well.

I guess somehow we are forced into learning to live with the restrictions at the moment. I'm one of those 'can cope with isolation' kinda people but I also believe isolation is a state of mind as much as anything. I know how you feel, however. I can't wait to browse bookshops again, even though I may buy nothing, lol, go for a pint of beer or even eat at in a restaurant. Bring it home, brother! Sorry, havin' a Bruce Springsteen moment there. 😉

Ya. I went out for a bit downtown today. Normally the place is full of people....today people around, ya, but somewhat desolate, with all these restrictions.

My wife is a social butterfly and I'm an introvert, you can imagine how it's affected her more than me. But I feel for those who haven't been able to see their loved ones in a long time.
Hopefully this will be over within a year or so.
