Off the page

Oh to climb off this page, to slide inside your bed, to be the person touching you, not just this poem being read

My hands doing the things I write, touching all your skin, feeling every single curve, not just be some words within

Words within a poem, a seductive messege wrote in rhyme, to be your lover not a writer, so I could make you mine

Wrap my arms around you, share your love for real, instead of only dreaming, writing poetry on how our love might feel

My lips touching yours, of making love with you I write, but I would give up my poets life, just to spend a single night

One night of us being real, not just stanzas, loving words written formed in line, I dream of coming off this page to really make you mine
