Lost in the void
I gave you my love and it was as if your soul was an empty void. I watched as my love disappeared like the heart of the ocean sinking to the bottom of the deep blue sea.

Looking good, Meganne. Pop star quality. Ok, I know you will want me to look at the poem, so I will. Unrequited love. A love that is not reciprocated or indeed understood. I do like your short poems. They are usually raw & to the point.
