What defines a kink

The subject of this poem is what defines a kink, is it a desprate need in anothers mind, that takes them to the brink

Takes them to the edge of fulfilment, makes them feel alive, helps them grow and find them selves, it simply makes them thrive

It may be a simple thing, inconsequential to you or I, but to them its their lifeforce, to them its do or die

Being tied up, or degredated, or a flogger on their skin, I guess there's so many kinks, but how do they begin

Do people stumble into them, then think I could get used this, or maybe they got guided by a partner, to their eternal bliss

Dressing up as a character, your kink could be roll play, being fucked dressed as Yoda, might really make your day

Handcuffs and butt plugs, the more extreme and so hardcore, you may love the pain game, or to be treated like a whore

What works for some kinksters, may make other people freak, but there's so many kinks out there, the pleasures yours to seek

I guess even Vanilla, has to be considered a kind of kink, if that's what makes them feel fulfilled, we must stop and think

Is there such a thing as a kink, or are we just the the same, just variants on a spectrum, of a sexual game
