After Life
Does man create entities to help fight the enemies within?
For in order to have symmetry there has to be a yang & a yin
Many pretend to know the most high's desires
Or what things'll be like after our time expires
Proclaiming lakes of fires or pearly gates
But does anyone know our eternal fates?
Debate it all you wish but it reigns true
We won't know until our days are through
When our loved ones boo hoo as they grieve
Reflecting on the things that we've achieved
As the soul leaves its vessel to ascend
When the final chapter comes to an end
Then, and only then, will we know for sure
What the truth is regarding what's in store
The church doors are open; come bare witness
Bite off of my apple as I end this

Drop the mic boom boom boom this is full of depth and deepness of the untanglement of the darkness of the unknown for we will never know what portal we shall journey through when life as we know it no longer exist nicely composed brother...respect 🙏👍

As a formerly very 'religious' person but now a spiritual person and seeker I relate strongly to this in agreement. We don't 'know'...we sense or we 'believe' but knowing is not for this side of the veil and it takes a certain humility to admit that. Good provocation D.

Thought provoking write Damon. I think some of us who grew up in religious homes rebelled against the ideologies and doctrines because our conscious minds began to question certain things. We may not have the answers while on this earth, but I think it goes without saying that doing good deeds for others and spreading kindness should part of the fundamentals of being decent human beings.
