THE VACCINE SCENE
If they're effective as purported to be
Why worry whether if it's taken by me
Could it be about the monetary gain
Man, pharmaceutical's a hell of a game
Framed in a beautiful frame & now I see
A clearer picture broadcasting in HD
Sincerely, I hope that it's not a feign
Being pulled on folks who're trying to remain
I'm choosing to refrain from bending a knee
Standing tall like a man who's totally free
I'll wait and see who'll be in the other lane
Watching the aftermath from my window pane

Yes, taking a knee is typically viewed as a sign of protest or a display of remembrance for a fallen comrade. Alternatively, it can also be viewed as a sign of bowing down to authority, as in kneeling before the throne. I'm using the latter in this poem. Standing tall regardless of the pressure being inflicted to make me bow down. I respect whatever decision anyone makes regarding this vaccine issue. I'm just creatively expressing how I personally feel about it. Thanks for taking the time to read my poem and for inquiring for more clarity.
