End Zone

Carrying enough baggage for a worldwide tour
Filled up with battle scars from multiple wars
Taking score but unsure if winning or losing
One thing's for sure is the psyche is bruising

Yet, still choosing to fight the good fight
Anticipating the arrival of the next flight
With foresight from prior fights, here we stand
A Soldier's perseverance is what life demands

For a bird in the hand is worth two in a bush
Blessings in lessons are worth more than cush
A push to get your tush out it's comfort zone
Is just what's needed to reach the end zone
