tide leaves the shore~
vacuous aching remains
as grains of sand
I tried to cling to
are pulled from
useless fingers;
I let them go on a sigh,
accepting I will never
see them again
vacuous aching remains
as grains of sand
I tried to cling to
are pulled from
useless fingers;
I let them go on a sigh,
accepting I will never
see them again

Damn... such a powerful, aching spill. Big emotions in this little poem, Luna 💔

Letting go is one of the most difficult lessons to learn. It creates the pain that paves the way to unattachment via expectation. ❤
