Letter to the wind.

If you love me you have to be more direct. Because I love you and there are no boyish games to be played when it comes to my heart. When I  tell you I love you those word are perfect to the letter. You asked me can I love you forever,  and I answer yes and gave you my whole heart at that moment. And I never deviated from that commitment, I  was not perfect but I  was devoted. Devotion is all I give and my love doesn't lie. I wanted us to grow together not apart. There is no perfect relationship, but true love can endure and survive the perfect storm. As a man I have my pride and my honor, and I won't lose them chasing you. Because my love is worthy, not worthless. And I give it all to you. I asked you to be my wife, because I  am a man.  I don't want to be a boyfriend.  I want to be a husband. I know I made mistakes,  but the only mistake it would be is for me not to correct them. So I  have put down my ego and my false personalities, and through that process I found myself,  and yet I found that I still loved you. Ever since we were kids I loved you. From the first moment I layed eyes on you. And it never faded. We became adults and we fell in love with each other. You was not that little girl anymore, nor was I that little boy, that fell in love with you, I became a man that is still in love with you.  My life has been hard, so have yours. The world has been cold, yet through the coldness, my heart stayed warm for you. Yes I  could be cold yes I could be hard. Yet how could I have survived in that jungle of lions and hyenas.  So you understand.  Yet I am soft for you. You keep me calm, you keep me tempered. Your my softness in this hard world. You help me peel those hard layers off. Who can I talk to besides you. You make become that little boy again.  You know how I love to play and be silly. I play with children as if I am one of them. Because I  can be soft when I am amongst them. You taught me how to enjoy life, showed me how to live it. Instead of just surviving it. I have changed people around me don't fear me. They enjoy my company I am compassionate and giving. I am generous.  I  know how to love.  So if you love me be direct. Because I love you and you know I will care for you and protect you. No man could hold you and I know that for a fact. Come to me. If he comes behind you. He will only find darkness.  Because I  will cover you with it. You know who I am.  But do you love me?  Because I can't stand still much longer because I  love myself. You know I love you, and I could deal with you. I love you enough to grow with you, understand you. I am not the man you left. Today I  am the man pain and suffering made me become.
