Letter to Heaven

 
Dear great grandma and my family,

I don’t know where to start
I don’t know how I should begin
I guess I’ll start with I miss you
I miss you like
there is no sun in the sky and
It’s just a cloudy day
just as I’m about to cry
it starts to rain
sometimes I wonder if you look down at me
and smile and say that's Elizabeth
down there look at her now
so beautiful so happy.
I wish I could go back in time
and write down things that we did or
had a video of us together
I’m starting to forget you
and it scares me.
I don’t want to forget you ever
I know I didn’t say this to you much
but I love you so much and
I know you love me.
I wish they had a telephone in heaven
where I could call you and talk to you but
there isn’t one, so I sit here sometimes
and cry because I miss you so much.
Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you
you’re in my heart forever and
 that’s where you'll stay
I will try to make you proud.
