an afternoon at the Centre Market
melting like butter
sitting in the late
summer sun
sky as blue as robin's
eggs
what a perfect day
to be useless

After just writing a gazillion words...
I read this and think, "absolutely"
Not only do I just love this
It reminds me that I can't see the forest through the trees.
Buddahkitty is a wise kitty
lol
Ty for sharing
I really enjoyed it

Re. an afternoon at the Centre Market
the casual title & the 'useless' you zoom upon ...adds the natural flavour of drawing ev humanness to the title & poem... Reminds me heavily of classic popular Indin ~ English author R.K.Narayan..whose works revolve around everyday simple routines & lives , but going into their layers in subtle depths the nostalgic way he does & syncs...Love the metaphors of melting butter & sky as blue .. you write of the total lazing soothing unwinding & the whole expanse in no greys open uninhibitedly to the the so- venturing ... you are back with your stunning poetics bk! Loving them all..

I love the simplicity and yet great depth to this. For the most part, people either can't be still or they're lazy; there are few far and in between that know how to simply relax and enjoy a beautiful day in appreciation of their surroundings. Something tells me you were beaming as brightly as the sun.

I have to be"on" 8-10 hours a day 5 days a week given my profession, so it was a rare day when I could simply let go to that extent. It was wonderful!

Re. an afternoon at the Centre Market
Dear BK,
Pure ecstasy. The closest thing to heaven. I love those moments, for me I consider those the ultimate zen moments. Too bad they’re only moments. Full days would be very welcomed also. Alas, I’ll take what’s offered and definitely enjoy it through your lovely write. H🌷
