so much want to say
you are my friend to the end
I have been seeing you in a different way
at first, we had a lot in common I thought we just blend

I try to keep my distance
honestly I just like when you talk to me I enjoy our interactions
I must have so what of a strong resistance
there are just so many attractions

I know your not mine
which with you I feel like I need to have a strong spine
your that kind friend that say the truth when I don't want to hear it
where some times I want to throw a fit

I do listen to your advice I love how you support me
you always say to keep writing
I just tell myself maybe we were just not meant to be
but sometimes there's these urges im fighting

you tell me not to let anyone hurt me
so this friendship means a lot to me its something I want to keep
