nomoth, this is the second time today I have been blown away. You took Brooks' poem around the block, twice. That was a very difficult inspirational poem to choose because of her metaphors and vocabulary. I should've known you would be the one.

again another piece and poet I have fallen for and i would not have known. Yes, her vocabulary and its use with the metaphors really spoke to me and was a delicious well to dive into with a chance to peacock in my own way a bit. She manages to use them so efficiently yet so strongly, something i do struggle with as they can become convoluted very often. again grateful for the opportunity to stretch my writing.

Usually I am the one receiving complaints about having to look up word definitions. Juxtaposition. lol So glad that I did, though. I would love to Spotlight this one for the podcast. It has a streak of melancholy through it's transformations, it seems to me, through it's shadow play of moments, that I feel in my gut.
