the soul's journey

 
a river of feelings swirl inside me
carried from the mind to the heart and reaches the soul
melancholy and fear...awash in pain
the soul reasons with the heart and mind
it's all temporary this existence  
 
the soul seeks to learn grace and ascend to the next dimension
the mind reasons with the soul I'm not ready yet
there's still so much for me to learn and overcome
the heart holds to ones loved in this place
the soul makes claims there are other realms of knowing--
where we are yet loved and our presence waited on
 
the mind acknowledges this truth
asserting to see death in this lifeform as a graduation of sorts
a transformation of self, not an end
finally, the heart maintains a part of soul will remain in the mind's of others  
leaving a lasting impact here
 
each soul evolving and gaining in knowledge
the human mind and heart can't fathom the levels a soul must travel
nor the number of dimensions their soul has already come--
in the understanding of self and others
space and time are infinite, so is the journey
 
the mind, heart, and soul agree it's temporal...the now
enjoy the experience
even the pain of it
