Sunflowers On The Window Ledge
In a slurry of sleep-fall
The moon waits to
Give away her night,
Stars fearful of stage fright
Exit left at skied curtain.
Everything I know deserts me now:
Apocalypse of monsoon lips
Weep mouths thru’ eyelash laces.
The fox moves silently.
In flicker of his movement
A truck would drive
Wheel on wheel
Century upon century:
The road is ceaseless.
Golden fur strands thread
Topography of all existence,
Adventures in the human trade.
The fox will rest once fed.
Fraternity of lantern light your librar’ied words
I open your enclaved verses and walk in:
Your purple tipped poetry & souled form
Is going to haemorrhage me girl.
