Blah ! Blah ! Blah !

He hit on me by dropping a comment on my FB thread inviting me to get to know him more as he was interested in me.
  
The audacity was astounding as FB is not a fucking dating app !  
   
I checked him out; whilst looking at his profile, his photos, and locale before deciding that the best thing I could do for him was to tell him a blatant lie, so he didn’t have to feel rejected per se.    
   
I told him my husband to be wouldn’t be appreciative of such behaviour, and he deleted the commentary, and went on his merry way.    
   
I think that went well; considering, I didn’t have to actually make him feel the sting of rejection.  
   
Does that make me a coward; telling a strange man whom I’ve never engaged with on any other platform, that I’m engaged to another man as I don’t want to entertain him, or myself with his attention and affections !?  
   
Well. I just don’t care anymore as I have no desire to form superficial bonds with men whom I cannot kiss, hold, touch, taste and smell.    
   
I’ve already reconciled the fact that I’m going to be one of those crazy cat ladies as there aren’t any gentleman left in the world as they’re a dying breed for those who are cut from a different cloth.  
   
Life, is way too short to engage with liars and cheaters who wish to establish superficial online bonds that end up wasting people’s time and energy.
 
If you can’t break bread together, you have nothing to build upon.
