waves and ripples on the sea
and in the minds of you and me
as in our hearts emotions roar
plunging down before they soar

drip and splash on everyone
while quiet, peaceful, always still
within there is a place that will

always be somewhere to go
withdrawing from the outer show
breathing in and out and in,
the secret mantra to within...

sometimes slowly, sometimes fast

as in a lake of peace we float
in calm waters with no boat
then levitating as we rise
above the lake into the skies
