Why is there Life
if there is Death;
Why is there Happiness-joy-
If there is Pain-grief
and Stealth?
Why is there Love
if there is Hate;
Why do others believe
in the stars above
or Fate?
Why is there a word such as Peace,
when there lies a constant action such as War?
To keep something you must release;
to send it back where it was before.
Why is there Trust
if there is Deception or Lies;
Why must there be Dusk
if the sun will always rise?
Why is there Loyalty
if there is Dis-honour.
Why must there be a Legacy
that Fear should be required?
Why is there Desire
if it will never suffice
the human soul.
Why won't it burn to Fire-
Coal-
or even turn to ice or snow?
Why is there a Beginning
if there must be a Rapture?
Why is ones' Heart constantly thinning
To a Ghostly disaster?
Why is there Cause
if there is Effect?
Why are 'Metal Bars'
the only way to protect?
Why are there Tears
if there are Smiles?
Why can't we be strong
enough to bare
The memories that beguile?
Why is there a Door
if there lies a Window
that leads you to the floor;
Entering a fallen Crescendo?
Why is there Inception
if all the causes will condure Deception?
Why is threr a word such as 'Normal';
when there lies another such as Weird?
No one can act the true deffinition of Formal-
And not be ware.
Why is there a Sword
if there is a Dagger?
Why are there so many words
in Life- that form together?
Why is there Crime
if nothing can be Proven;
Why is there Time
if Death will always have one to summon?
Why is there an Ocean
if there is a Sea?
Why is there emotion
If there's Nothing left to be?
Why is there Happiness
if there is Pain?
How is something Lifeless-
eventhough it Rains?
Why is there Autumn
if there is Fall;
How is there a Problem-
then , nothing at All?
Why is there Forgiveness
if there is Revenge?
Why are enemies and challengers
the only ones to avenge?
Why is there Silence
if there is Noise?
Why is there Greivence
and nothing to Destroy?
Why are there Memories
if there are Flaws;
Why are there Tendencies,
or feelings at all?
Why is there Movement
if there is Stillness?
Why is the mind Dim-lit
if it is the only whiteness?
Why is there rain
if there is mist?
Why is there Pain
when nothing else Exists'?
Why is there Darkness
if there is Light?
Why can't memories be Painless-
with only words to describe?
The questions we ask
May never be answered;
untill the Phantom removes their mask
and reveals all disasters.

If you have never known hate; you truly have never been in love. Not one thing can exsist without the other. However their are 3 types of people in this world
1. People that wonder why it happens
2. People who wonder what happens
3. People that make things happen
I still enjoyed you poem. The balance of it's opposite of each other was right on. Us on earth is the balance between the high of heaven and the low of hell. Kudos to you.
