I have always found it macabre to watch a spider trap and wrap its prey. Yet, it's like a King film, you can't turn away even though its grisly nature disturbs you.

You had me at the title.
This reminds me of the opening of "Blue Velvet" which shows this seemingly
idyllic suburban scene of green lawns, friendly neighbors and sprinklers ...
then swoops in on an ultra-close up of garden beetles locked in mortal combat.

Dear N,
Yep, super icky but a train wreck you can’t help but wonder at. Not a fan of spiders but their webs are so beautiful it’s amazing behind that facade how lethal they are. Great pic with wonderous poem. There is always something to admire isn’t there. H🌷
