Do I Haunt You?

Do I haunt you?

The taste of your mouth in mine,
The heat of the palm of your hand,
The scent of your masculine sweat,
The sound of your most primal growl,
Your face inches from mine as you claim me.

I lay alone,
Remembering,
Yearning to reach out,
And behold you again with my senses.

You haunt me,
Diaphanous, sinister promise,
Whimsy, shimmering, nearly solid,
My trembling hand extends and the mist is gone.

Can you yet taste my nectar?
Can you feel the strands of hair in your fist?
Can you smell our conjoined, intoxicating juices?
Can you still hear my hushed moans and whispered pleas?
Can you see me, see the color of my eyes, looking up into yours?

Do I haunt you?
