My Thoughts on Corruption
Dishonesty of any kind is a corruption
It is not merely in money or in kind
It can be in promptitude
It can be in allegiance
It can be in decision
It can be in alliance
It can be in confidence
It can be in reliance
It can be in abuse of
public property,
position and power
Honesty builds you,
dishonesty destroys you
Honesty forms your strength,
dishonesty infirms you
Honesty is Devine,
dishonesty is evil
Honesty brings you Pride,
dishonesty makes you slave
Be honest and Be Proud

Author's Note
During my entire career I came across various superior officers, colleagues and subordinate staff etc. They have defined corruption within their comfort zone keeping themselves out of that ambit. Meaning they themselves were non corrupt and how others were corrupt. I have also seen many people who were capable of delivering speech on Corruption tirelessly for long hours, where they themselves were neck deep in corruption. This was funny. This topic inspired me to pen down my thought on corruption. I am sure whosoever read this poem I assure you that tou will remember some personalities around you and if you don't, it means you are in a better society.

some of the best song repeat the same line over and over again. same goes for poems
