Neptune
If she could swirl her finger
In the deep cerulean sky
combing every word
into the milky cirrus dawn
Gliding on a wing of beauty
into the glacial alpine air
melting into rivers
as she reaches for the sun
When charcoal dreams
smolder into desolation
beyond the shroud of truth
Swimming to her heart
In Neptune waves of love.
In the deep cerulean sky
combing every word
into the milky cirrus dawn
Gliding on a wing of beauty
into the glacial alpine air
melting into rivers
as she reaches for the sun
When charcoal dreams
smolder into desolation
beyond the shroud of truth
Swimming to her heart
In Neptune waves of love.

This is soaring...
Gorgeous, and I mean GORGEOUS writing, Evocation! This piece is pure magic with it's wonderful, symbolic imagery. I liked it a lot... You did a wonderful job and your admiration is showing :)

Thanks so much for your comments. I really wanted to capture the imagery and put it into words. I never know how people are going to interpret my poems, but you're right about admiration. She's very enchanting...

Liked this a lot, the use of vivid images and colors to set the mood, "gliding on a wing of beauty".
Beautiful work.
