Maybe it’s just me... but I found a bit of a sarcastic tone in this piece. It felt a bit resentful towards the subject of the poem.
The writer says they want to drown the subject of the poem, which isn’t necessarily an image of love.
The repetition of the phrase kinda hammers it home, kinda as if this thought is going round and round the writers head.
Anyway that was just what I took from the poem. Quite an interesting little read this one. Thank you for sharing.

The reason why behind the repitition is that I thought I have categorized this as song lyrics. I don't know how it became a poem. I had to make it funny because that's just me. Why would I want to torture somebody I love so much? It's out of love. Thank you for reminding me I wrote this one and for the feedback. I had a very good time writing this song.
