star gazers

 
the veil is slowly parted and I awake
and I realize sadness aches within herself
to see my soul still in its infancy

sigh to feel this vulnerable
sigh to feel this real
my heart is changing
while I evolve within myself

a conscious with a voice is singling quietly
awaken child of the dawn
keeper of dreams
stir inside the communal pool of thought
awaken with your brothers and sisters
bring sleeping stars to memory

once they shine so brightly
it shall be so again
the path of mankind is lit by such as these
artisans of the soul are they

the universe has a voice and heartbeat
it is alive
connected to us intimately
energy pulses form the idea
then it's revealed to the seers
beacons who receive information
then passes it along

one voice becomes many
as understanding dawns
and our muse stirs inside us
tuning us into the greater truths

the universes itself nurtures unto fruition--
within the hearts of our fellow sojourners
who are slowly evolving into sentient beings
unto the way of enlightenment
causing an awakening in the journeyer's spirit
graduating us to a higher realm of thinking

to come full circle becoming light-bearers
who send interstellar waves of comfort
to a generation, just beginning its travels through the cosmos
