Simple pleasures,        
Life’s smallest        
of treasures        
       
And give them        
a moment to shine        
At times,          
presenting them in a        
different light        
       
Gifting them        
temporary access        
to your wings,        
propelling flight          
raising them to new heights        
       
Awarding the rest of us opportunities        
to wander the corridors      
of your mind        
       
Where metaphors burn bright        
Imagery births abundant life        
And colors of many hues        
richly dance across the walls        
creating kaleidoscopes        
of astute perceptions        
       
Such a blessed invitation        
to explore existence        
though your inspired gazes
