Exit Conflict
Soiled center of being
Asleep, unaware
Needs no care
'Cause no one cares
Left behind, eating dust
I like being broken
Just as much
The state of things
Gone well awry
You look at me
Through cold, dead eyes
Sun turns to black
And I compromise
Exit conflict
Existence dies
Spoiled perfections
And a ribbon of disgust
Left tied to a dream
That nobody wants
So out with the old
And in with the new
We've fallen face-down
Chasing after the blue
Complacency killed
What was left of you
No more trust
No more truth
Asleep, unaware
Needs no care
'Cause no one cares
Left behind, eating dust
I like being broken
Just as much
The state of things
Gone well awry
You look at me
Through cold, dead eyes
Sun turns to black
And I compromise
Exit conflict
Existence dies
Spoiled perfections
And a ribbon of disgust
Left tied to a dream
That nobody wants
So out with the old
And in with the new
We've fallen face-down
Chasing after the blue
Complacency killed
What was left of you
No more trust
No more truth
