Overwhelmed
I thought the world felt lonley before,
Despite walking through a crowd of people in the grocery store.
Now we all avoid each other feeling as though it's neccasary to protect ourselves and loved ones from becoming ill,
It feels as though everyone is rushing and time is being fast forwarded; yet I am standing still.
Wearing the masks, carrying around handsanitizer like they're as neccesary as water,
At times it feels like we're cattle and God is leading us to slaughter.
I know that it isn't the case,
but that's just how I feel when I'm consumed by fears and my heart starts to race.
