the shadow in front of me
i look away from you
but i feel you staring at me
try to abort, contort, come short and eventually...
confront the shadow in front of me
a million eyes seeping
through the waves of the waves of the waves of the sea
trapping me under their gaze
but all inside of you
you, the shadow in front of me
one man's worries
is another man's free
and though i start to run i feel that i-
i am drifting back to the sea

wrote this while strumming on a guitar, I found it goes well with em, a chords then bm, am chords (idk if anyone really cares about that lol)
