The thing is to me, although from the outside looking in at me and my teacup it would appear that I have total control, the reality is, we are both in control at all times always. living, loving, and learning together.

There are so many different variants of this type of relationship nowadays, but when it comes to a true willful submission one has to ask this question. there is two sides, the Dom and the sub. On the outside it would appear that the Dominant one of the two holds total control, but in reality, if the others submission is truly willful, that would mean at any given time, if felt unattended to, ignored, does not feel safe, or has a loss of trust in the other, they might not be willing anymore, and if this is in your belief system that it is the only way it works, there is no submission without the willing, so in the end ultimate control is in the hands of the submissive, who is there in this role for one simple reason, because they want to be. Not because there is a "contract", not because they are told, not because they have to be.

In my eyes anyway if done right, and not using this lifestyle for other means to an end, but using it to form a bond like no other between to people sharing, never taking, equals if you will, the person holding this one simple card, the ultimate piece of the puzzle, that is the person with ultimate control.

aaaaaand he babbled again lol.

I hope this made sense. it is one view among many, but IMHO it is the only true view :)

Thanks for the interesting perspective, and I did read through - I realize the reason for over explanation, as it is a taboo which you appreciate, so you probably have to justify and explain a lot to the average person. I try to be non-judgemental. I respect your beliefs, and find it interesting, but I just don't get into that stuff. I'm kind of a loner/eccentric type who was never that sexually driven. Good old fashioned sex was always just fine for me when I did get it. I'm not fond of fetishism really, but everyone has their thing :P
