Whispers In The Silence
you take a walk along a twisting path
flanked by hedges and trees and fields
the warmth of the sun guides you
as you continue alone in silence
whispers and echoes of a life that once was
grief overwhelms you, storming your chest
you reach the end of the trail and turn
to begin the lonely journey home

It's funny and oh so relative, Lawrence...as a misanthropic introvert I love being alone, so isolation is a good thing for me...it's the journey back home to the crowd that brings me down. Nice ink my friend.

I have to echo Harry here; groups of people drain me. I am much better alone; however, I can completely understand that many are not, and this has created a hardship on them. My heart goes out to those who live in city complexes that have no access to nature to soothe their soul.
