Bedlam~with the beautiful Jadedembers
The instinct to flee is normal. But there's no point in evasion, in trying to avoid pain and fear.
- Melanie Raabe
the black cackled with mirth
my mania spun on the day's wheel of chance
it came up delirium
delusions it would be
Spiders creeping from between the stitches
Their webs holding lips shut
Silence forced and shut away
the day scatter when madness is on the wind
lunacy comes calling and my demons pull up a seat
in for one hell of a crazy ride
they easily slip inside for a taste of bedlam
my inner lady retreats to the darkness
inside me, I hear her scream
no fear dawns...I am not afraid
mad laughter fills the room
I'm no longer in charge
I think... Or maybe control is an illusion
Like a hallucination come to life
Crazy lady isn't in her bed
Malignancy slowly absorbed into
Scarred skin coloring the ominous images stuck
Like a bullet in the skull
Captivating horrors growing in the night
Accepting the monster holding my hand
Escorted into fog
Sinfulness embraced in the flatness of his eyes
He thinks it keeps him safe and
Feeling in control of his destruction
Playing God with her destruction
His hate mirroring her wounds
