Image for the poem You

You're My Everything

Your eyes display an image of me that no mirror reveals
Your lips speak the sweetest things to help my heart heal
Your breast provide a soft place for me to rest my weiry head
Your touch comforts me whenever I wish that I were dead

Your kiss brings me bliss and dismisses my depression
Your hips when they dip provide my body with passion
Your compassion for my plight brings light into my darkness
Your companionship gives me strength in my moments of weakness

Your confidence in my ability increases my energy to sustain
Your efficacy serves as a remedy to stop my going insane
You're an effigy of what a woman should be for her family
You're the epitome of everything that I need for you to be
