Meaning of Life (NaPo #22/30)
I've been trying to kick a dead horse,
Milking a dead cow, during the course
Of my life, trying to guess what's on the other side,
The meaning of life, why were we brought along for the ride?
But I've been doing nothing but rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic,
This has all seemed rather dramatic,
But in reality, it's just been a storm in a teacup.
We are not humans, trying to have a spiritual experience,
But rather, spirits trying to have a human experience.
We know not, what lies in wait for us, when our time comes,
But we were never supposed to know exactly what happens to us organisms.
Why does every philosopher, religion,
And individual person
Have a different theory
If it's supposed to be the same story?
