The Song of Day (String of Haiku)
Nature awakens
After a night of slumber
At my arrival
Rising to meet me
As I ascend from the east
Wrap in drops of dew
I alight with dawn
And stand at the horizon
Glowing and beaming
Flowers welcome me
Opening their soft petals
To bask in my warmth
I kiss them softly
Caressing their tender leaves
With warm morning light
The trees lift their arms
Waiting for their sustenance
From my sun's bright rays
Earth quickens with life
Delighting at my presence
After a dark night
The world rejoices
Each time I appear and glow
Bringing hope and life
After a night of slumber
At my arrival
Rising to meet me
As I ascend from the east
Wrap in drops of dew
I alight with dawn
And stand at the horizon
Glowing and beaming
Flowers welcome me
Opening their soft petals
To bask in my warmth
I kiss them softly
Caressing their tender leaves
With warm morning light
The trees lift their arms
Waiting for their sustenance
From my sun's bright rays
Earth quickens with life
Delighting at my presence
After a dark night
The world rejoices
Each time I appear and glow
Bringing hope and life
