dew
the morning awaken ushering the sun to his place in the heavens
the birds stir from their nests singing songs of praise
on their way, they flit about busy, busy
the grass glistened with dew little jewels decorating each blade
the trees reached skyward with little hallelujahs of their own
I opened my sleepy eyes to the morn alive in the moment
so happy to be a part of the day's merriment
the day was pondered me for a minute
human, she whispered with the rustling of her leaves
give thanks for the beauty you've awoken to
I decorated the dawn to give glory to our creator
will you tell the peoples how beautiful it is...life?
a smile spread over my face
the flowers in the garden smiled back at me
I was content in the now
I would carry the day's message in my heart
passing it on to my brother and sister
the day thanked me she was complete
