The Great Beyond
Beyond ethnic pride and prejudice
Knowledge of scribes and Sadducees
Bitter tribes and orators of hate speeches
Hypocrites, parasites and leaches
Popular conflicts propagated by mediocre differences
Racial references and uninformed inferences
Is a world where we could all be perfect
Where Martin Luther King would not have had the famous dream
For what other reason to dream than to escape the reality that is
Beyond the sad reality of what is
Being compelled to dream by day,
For by night hearts are never at ease
The screams, the tears, the wars
Calculated smiles to mask all flaws
Molested souls haunting the reality that is,
Vendettas from the past and unjust systems
Is a world where colour and creed
Don’t identify deviants, terrorists and social misfits
Beyond mass genocides and unresolved conflicts
Third worlds politics of big guns and dilapidated cities
Blame games, corrupt elites and peasants in stitches
Beyond laws of peace and pieces of law
Paper in conflict with practice
Is a world where we could all breathe justice.
Beyond petty party politics and revenge references
Race for arms and scarce resources
Is a world where we could all see things clearly
Where we could all be resourceful?
And learn that poverty is not a curse but a consequence
Beyond propaganda, speeches and suicide missions
Tensions, struggles for power and belonging
Delusions of grandeur and other mental illnesses
Is a world where we could all take pride in our differences?
A world where we could all be heavenly citizens
And not let our differences be the end of our species
Beyond dreams, hope and imagination
Is an evolved version of everything that is.
