Sun To Sun...
Through a lens of stolen glances,
I watch from afar,
admiring your tender hearted charm
and brawn arms I call home.
You make me long
to be adored from sun to sun,
our silhouettes
serenading the moon in the midst.
Time be damned
as we get lost in love and lust,
finding ourselves in another day that
has just begun.
To then open my eyes
to hazel irises that create my dulcet
heart song,
and welcome a new sun that's dawned.
.......Oh how you make me long.

Picture is like a pieta (albeit a woman's body in hands of a man, whereas the sculpture's show a male - Jesus' - body in hands of a woman - his mother)and it joins with the painting in suggesting that desire to be held by one's beloved..

Love this beautiful write. Recently, i had someone tell me that a woman is a piece of art. He is mine now if i want and will meet in two days time in a parking lot in isolation.

Sunrise was never more beautiful than when used as a metaphor by a consummate poet such as you. in this sensual song of love. This swept me into a faraway romantic transcendence that made me dream. There is magic in how you made love into the only truth one needs know. Such lyrical beauty here. I feel an awakening in your soul that cannot be denied. The undeniable power of sensuality is unveiled here like morning on the day of creation.
