The pendulum of a Woman
I watch her as she walks away
My eyes are mesmerized by her form
Perfect curves in a hypnotic sway
that takes my libido into a gentle storm
I cannot seem to ignore the way
the memory is embedded in my thoughts
As if her whole body has something to say
in a voice that is slightly louder than God's
I respect her enough to remain silent,
though I've told her in my mind
that I realize I love her in that moment
that she walked away and left me behind
My eyes are mesmerized by her form
Perfect curves in a hypnotic sway
that takes my libido into a gentle storm
I cannot seem to ignore the way
the memory is embedded in my thoughts
As if her whole body has something to say
in a voice that is slightly louder than God's
I respect her enough to remain silent,
though I've told her in my mind
that I realize I love her in that moment
that she walked away and left me behind
