Coffee In The Morning

When I awake in the morning. And the sun paints my face with it's sun rays. And my waking eyes watch the night shadows shrink away upon the walls as the daylight advances. I wake only to find that my slumber was short. And I inhale deeply. As I notice that you're not at my side. And I lost my breath. and my heart ached. And it screamed out at me. And said I am broken. I fear I may never be whole again. Love have no place here, how can love call this broken space home. And it began to cry. And my eyes felt it's pain and cried along with it. My soul began to shake and my spirit fell from a great height. And the tears were hot upon my face. As the tears roamed through my beard. And I can't hear the breaths you take. The warmth of your fire does not warm me as I shiver alone in this cold world. A world I call forever winter because you are not here. No hot cup of coffee scenting the room. No footsteps in the kitchen. This morning no smile greets me that will wake the sun. And the sky is not the only thing  blue. I remember holding heaven in my arms. And awakening to find paradise smiling at me holding a cup of coffee in her hands. I shout out to you that I love you. My heart trumpets loudly calling you to come to me. Yet you are not coming, you can not hear me. You have closed your ears to me.  And the silence is so loud without out your voice. I love you some how hope this message flys to you. And return to me in the morning with you sitting upon it's wings. I want to taste the sweetness of sugar love again with coffee in the morning.
