A drop in the ocean

 
the faucet left running;
like numbers at the lotto;
the tickets keep coming;
while the "big one" means nothing
 
 
mutual equivalent of hit or miss;
like just another drop in the ocean;
what ever is being promoted;
from a personal image to a business;
 
 
 it "appears" to be worth it;
though dysfunction lies behind the curtain, of any shower of "riches";
could it be better any other way than "this"
 
 
the graveyard, is where the "hugs & kisses" are truly genuine;
not the same as any other occasion; because the weight of one's presence "positive" or "negative" is absent....
 
 
absent like a mind while one's living; facing a world with decisions; knowing the odds are deeply rooted;
 
 
and lives are but a storyline with no ending....
