Obsidian Haunting
I had a dream I was kissing you
Your hands were all over me
Bruising and breaking me
Hands that morphed into claws
Your mouth degrading into fangs
Your skin cracking open, slicing open
Glittering obsidian pushing outwards
Stabbing into my flesh, piercing into me
You told me you'd never let me go
That no matter how hard I ran
Or blocked you and hid you would find me
That you would haunt my dreams
And be the basis of every single nightmare
Your obsidian hand wrapped around my throat
Silencing any reply I could possibly make
And I just laid there; silent as you went on and on
About owning my body, my heart and my soul
I felt the chains tighten on my wrists
I knew that this was the end of me
But then a door open and light poured in
Causing this demon nightmare to scream in despair
And your monster form faded away
And there you stood... You
Looking sad... And lost... And small
And you whispered across the room
Why did you leave me?
Your hands were all over me
Bruising and breaking me
Hands that morphed into claws
Your mouth degrading into fangs
Your skin cracking open, slicing open
Glittering obsidian pushing outwards
Stabbing into my flesh, piercing into me
You told me you'd never let me go
That no matter how hard I ran
Or blocked you and hid you would find me
That you would haunt my dreams
And be the basis of every single nightmare
Your obsidian hand wrapped around my throat
Silencing any reply I could possibly make
And I just laid there; silent as you went on and on
About owning my body, my heart and my soul
I felt the chains tighten on my wrists
I knew that this was the end of me
But then a door open and light poured in
Causing this demon nightmare to scream in despair
And your monster form faded away
And there you stood... You
Looking sad... And lost... And small
And you whispered across the room
Why did you leave me?
