Rational Noghtmares

I'm in the room that I sleep in on a constant
It's dark and too quiet and it's leaving me restless
The subtle light that there is from our sacred moon makes shadows that move about the white walls
I watch them dance like raindrops falling on my head
They put flashbacks into my head, memories that I wish would stay hidden 
It embraces my eyes with hatred and anxiety like an animal trapped in a cage 
Hallucinating with thoughts that haunt me over and over, story after story, lie after lie
I can't sleep at night from such suffocation's 
Just go away and leave me alone 
There is a ringing in my ears that hardly goes away 
I have to think of happier times and how I'd shower to wash the sin off 
But I can never scrub hard enough to feel any better 
Yea, I'm ok for a while then I see something and reality sets in harder than ever 
I feel like I'm in a movie that everybody is watching, I'v got the juicy secret that nobody knows
Well you can have it
I'd rather you take it than be stuck with it any longer
