Two Lovesick People
I知 standing alone in the moonlight tonight.
Loneliness fills my heart with despondency,
And I知 feeling the pain of downheartedness.
I知 not the only lovesick person in the world,
There must be a girl somewhere pining for love.
I壇 like to get in touch with her somehow.
She doubts that she値l ever find true happiness;
That same thought weighs heavily on my mind.
She wants someone to adore her forever,
And I want someone to love and never lose.
I wish the stars could show me where that girl is.
She cries softly because she has no companion.
Dejection makes tears run down my cheeks.
I知 burning with eagerness to kiss tender lips,
And she desires the sweetness of a caress.
Every day she wishes for a good husband,
And I知 so anxious to marry a fascinating girl.
Why should two lovesick people be so far apart?
If we were in each other痴 arms tonight,
Our hearts wouldn稚 feel so sad and lonely.
I hope she痴 not afraid to send out her love call,
For I知 extending my love to her at this time.
