Quite

I saw you from a distance  
with that twinkle in your eye      
praying for the courage  
learning how to fly..    
     
I kept myself so guarded  
from a chance to live this life      
when all I really wanted  
was to kiss and hold you tight..    
     
The whispers of my passion  
ignite from deep within    
a part of me left dormant  
until we met again..    
     
A glimpse of intuition  
for soon I would be free    
no longer bound by moments  
where I could not be me..    
     
Embracing all these changes  
that once were just a dream      
I now can see a future  
of what was meant to be..
