Choices
What I thought about
was madness
as it grew
inside my heart
I knew I had no option
but to plan for my departure.
The shadows of our future
have now become a blur
the choice you made forever
Has hit me like a slur.
This left my life in sorrow
when I realized how it felt
to live a life of loneliness
for that's the cards I'm dealt.
As I think about my future
I cannot see you there
for the choice you made
was final
I'm lost without compare.
I am far beyond a future ...

Forever is Tomorrow
My life has changed
so quickly
in such
a Iittle time
trapped inside ideas
and a life that
wasn't mine.
Forever is tomorrow
but we're stuck
inside today
will we ever
get the chance
to feel just
how we say.
As I sit and write this poem
a window breeze
creeps in
only then do I feel
the cold
from deep within..
This blanket

for the chills
inside my heart

Now
I'm so fucking hurt
by the way that things went down.
If only you can understand
how much I need you now.
You told me that you'd be there
from the beginning to the end;
but now I have to live my life
without my bestest friend.
For now,
new chapters in my life
have shown me that I've lost my wife.
someone I thought I'd grow old with
truth is this pain I can't live with.
To know that you have blocked me
and sealed away your heart.
This changed my soul forever

Selfishness
The choice you made was selfish
and it broke your mother's heart
to think that her own daughter
had chose to just depart..
As she spoke about the moment
you called and said those words
she spoke of how she trembled
to even speak a words..
When paramedics rescued
the life your mother gave
I saw all of the terror

to just give up and die

Mindlessness
The intrusion of my thoughts
have placed alerts on high
for my body wants to kill itself
as my mind begins to die..
My mental health Is failing
by the thoughts inside my head
The race is never ending
but worse when I'm in bed..
Paralyzed depression
has me rooted in this spot
Due to all the broken thoughts
that turn my mind to rot..

The Clock
As I think about the future
my eyes deepen in the clock
for with each tick I witness
The death I feared would knock..
When I slide between the hands of time
a fragment breaks the notch
the pieces start to tremble
breaking down the clock..
As I see the door slide open
the cuckoo hids beneath
a chime that I'm familiar
the one that I must free..
Oh how long I've waited
to see what's deep inside
this pain that I have lived with
is the broken piece I hide..
As I look among the wreckage...

Safe Space
Let's escape to the place
that's deep in her heart
with millions of miles
to places embarked.
There is a promise
when we visit this space
No harm can be done
for it's a pure place.
I started building this place
when I was still young
the colors have changed
and the trees have all sprung.
I can go on adventures
and visit all that I've seen
for it is a place
much more than I dreamed.
If my focus is good
my connection is deep
I can feel the mist settle
from the waterfall's peak....
that's deep in her heart
with millions of miles

Dark
As I stand behind this gate,
it's a prison I might see,
but only when I closed my eyes,
I saw that it was free.
I walk around in darkness,
afraid of every light,
for whatever would I get,
if I never lived in fright?
Consumed by all the heat,
that permeates the ground,
Am I bound by hell,
or Heaven have I found?
I see now in the darkness,
when I look from deep within,
it's there I find the chains,
that kept me tangled in.
Sometimes I want the madness,
for then I feel alive,
but...

Prayers
Lord,
I asked you for the peace
that you placed inside my heart.
I know that when I live in you,
I won't be torn apart.
Anxious are my nerves
when I listen with my pain.
Being stuck inside my hell
will never bring me gain.
I will not get to live in faith
if I let that sickness grow.
Please protect my mind
and do not let me go.
I want to stay in you
with all that I may be.
Peaceful is your presence,
it's you who sets me free.
When I ask for new beginnings,
there are things...

Purgatory
Demolished by the will of self,
has left my soul behind.
I get into these moments,
where fear can tell me lies.
Consumed by the distraction,
I set up my demise.
Illusions from the feelings,
that live inside my mind.
Saturate the picture,
as tears make me go blind.
I'm stuck inside a force field,
with a toe tag on my foot.
Screaming out for help,
but no one stops to look.

from the body I abused.

Angel
God has sent me an angel
To remind me to pray.
The power of His word
All day long, I will stay.
To praise Him, hallelujah,
Is the highest accord.
For in the presence of His grace,
I am always adored.
When I am weak,
Or when I am strong,
I can be in His presence
All the day long.
I know in His faith,
He will give me the strength
To carry His grace
In all that I think.
I'm reminded that this world
Shall give me no fear,
For when I am connected to Him,
All will be clear.
