Well if this isn’t rock solid. The aging process can be painful and graceless. And I don’t understand why? Does it really have to hurt so much? Your write is tight and relatable. I wish you much better health ahead, and please continue to bother. I’d like to read more of your work. H🌷  

I am at this moment in a A+E been there 5 hours, , with severe abdominal pain. Seems it's my kidneys they gave them a good flush out. Now I face my wife as she has the car. It's 0155hrs.

Ah yes. I have one kidney, and many poems like this one, written fleetingly in hospitals. Those damn passing places. I think I like that this little piece captures a feeling we all have from time to time. We just never really express.

I'm sorry you are feeling a bit fed up with life... Hang in there, Drew. I can relate to the feeling...

I can certainly feel so overwhelming, I'm starting to come down with more aches and pains as I'm nearing 50. It's difficult to try to be optimistic.
