What does it mean
To be rich?
Limitless fresh and clean air,
Nourishing water
And fertile soil
Come to mind.
That is the wealth
I want for my children.
That is the wealth I cling to
So obsessively.

It's what I pray still exists when my Grandprecious is my age, Kumar. I can't imagine any parent or grandparent wishing differently.

There's a vital difference between 'wealth' and 'money', as your poem neatly portrays. You might find Charles Eisenstein's "Sacred Economics" an interesting read. It's available as a free download.
