A Life

the tragedies of his life
were cloistered

sheltered deep within his psyche
cryptic and secret

the joys of his life
were displayed

flamboyant carnival parades
complete with clowns acrobats marching bands

the loves of his life
were absolute

unconditional
doomed to failure

the point of his life
was fearless experimentation

exploration of the bizarre
and unconventional

the end of his life
was unremarkable
